Welcome Prof. Jun Huang, Shandong University, China to be the TPC!
Prof. Jun Huang, Shandong University, China
Prof. Huang received his BSc and MSc degree from Zhejiang University in 2009 and 2012 in China and his PhD degree from University of Alberta in 2017 in Canada. He has been the author and co-author of 51 peer-reviewed research papers in the top journals, including PNAS, Nature Communications, ACS Nano, Angewandte Chemit International Edition, Journal of Materials Chemistry B, Nanoscale, Biomacromolecules, Macromolecules and Langmuir. He has a total citation of 1175 with an H-index of 20 until April, 1st, 2020. He has been using a state-of-the-art surface forces apparatus (SFA), a highly sensitive technique to measure surface forces of materials and interfaces with a force sensitivity of < 1 nN and distance resolution of < 0.1 nm, to directly probe the adhesion, friction and lubrication mechanisms of various interfaces such as biopolymer in marine mussel adhesive system and joint systems.
Prof. Huang joined School of Mechanical Engineering of Shandong University as Qilu-Talented-Young Scholar in 2018. His current research interest is mainly focused on friction & lubrication at interfaces, additive manufacturing of soft materials and biomics design. He is also a senior member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and a member of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering.
